Moving the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities forward together entails assessing the opportunities and challenges ahead and re-inventing approaches for a new era. YAI’s 2014 International Conference “Designing the Future” will bring together professionals from across the globe, self-advocates and family members who are dedicated to creating a society that embraces difference. The conference will run from April 28-May 1, at the New York Hilton Midtown, 1335 Ave. of the Americas in midtown Manhattan.
