This interactive three-day school leadership institute will utilize the latest research, national presenters and key lessons from practice necessary to create equitable and excellent schools for all students. The institute places a particular focus on the inclusion of students with disabilities, special education, and issues of belonging and learning for all students.
When: Monday, August 5 — Wednesday, August 7, 2013 (August 8 & 9 for graduate credit)
Where: Syracuse University
Who: Practicing administrators and school leaders, including principals, special education directors, curriculum directors, superintendents, teacher leaders, and educational leadership students.
Registration Fees: Fee includes registration, institute materials, refreshments and parking at Syracuse University. (Continuing Education Units (CEU) certificates are available and can be requested by anyone attending the institute.)
$490 per person for individual registration
$450 per person for teams of 3 or more from the same school/district/organization
$350 per person for teams of 10 or more from the same school/district/organization
$100 per person for individuals taking the Institute for credit (more information below)
Graduate Credit: Students attending the Institute for graduate credits should register for EDA/SPE 700 on http://myslice.syr.edu and pay a reduced registration fee of $100 as well as tuition. Those interested in earning graduate credit will attend the institute August 5-7 and class on August 8-9 as well as complete assignments.
