This webinar will showcase many exciting national initiatives which promote integrated, competitive employment for transitioning youth with disabilities such as the National Governor’s Association’s A Better Bottom Line: Employment of People with Disabilities, the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation Transition and Employment priorities, Employment First, Administration on Developmental Disabilities Systems Change Projects, and Social Security Administration: Youth Demonstration Projects. Participants will learn about the goals of each initiative, cross-stakeholder engagement, how to connect to state and local projects, where to tap into resources, and have an opportunity for dialogue.
Audience: educators (primarily special education), vocational rehabilitation, developmental disability, health agency staff, families and youth.
