The NYS Special Education TaskForce is comprised of over 200 parent advocates, school district staff, attorneys and other individuals who specialize in Special Education Law, and work collaboratively to ensure that children with disabilities are educated in the least restrictive setting and receive a free and appropriate education.
The NYS Special Education TaskForce is interested in learning about what strategies or advocacy skills you know now that you wish you knew when you began the special education journey. The TaskForce is interested in hearing what worked for you so they can inform others. They will not be asking for any personal information. The survey will not take any longer than 10 minutes.
All survey responses will be combined into a summary document that will be shared with attendees at the March 15, 2013 Special Education TaskForce Annual Conference and posted on the TaskForce website, www.nyspecialedtaskforce.com
