All young people need mentors and other supportive relationships with caring adults (one of the components of the Guideposts for Success under Youth Development and Leadership). In celebration of this need and National Mentoring Month, Kaela Vronsky, Director of the Mentoring and National Center at Partners for Youth with Disabilities (PYD) shares some best practices in inclusive mentoring.
The National Collaborative on Workforce and Disability for Youth (NCWD/Y) and PYD are co-hosting a Twitter Chat on January 22nd, 12:00-1:00 PM EST. To hear more from PYD and NCWD/Youth staff, including staff from our Ready to Achieve Mentoring Program, be sure to join the chat with @ncwdyouth_iel and @youthmentors using #MentorChat.
