New York State CEC Conference –Nov. 2nd and 3rd, 2012

The New York State Federation of Chapters of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) will hold its annual conference in Saratoga Springs on November 2nd and 3rd, 2012. Keynote Speaker: Dr. Charles Hughes currently Professor of Special Education at Penn State University where he has taught for the last 27 years. Prior to teaching in higher education he worked as a teacher and state-level consultant for 14 years. Charlie has worked with the University of Kansas Center for Learning and has co-authored five of the learning strategies included in the Strategic Intervention Model (SIM). He is coauthor of Explicit Instruction: Effective and Efficient Teaching.
